Dave has had an action-packed career leading, managing and advising great businesses on a regional, national and global scale.

After working with dozens of critical business initiatives both large and small, he understands first-hand the critical nature of having the right people, organizational structure and leadership. Thus, Alpha Scouts® is focused on recruiting, staffing, leading and organizing the human elements of business.

Alpha Scouts has conducted personnel searches for a number of major global corporations, marketing services firms, mid-market companies, agencies and the media; paralleling the career experience of the founders.

Prior to Alpha Scouts, Dave was the founder and president of NeuVision Group®, a market launch and business management consulting firm. First launched in 1997, NeuVision Group has worked with companies like 3M, Pfizer, Caterpillar, Dow, Monsanto, Data Broadcasting Corporation, Prairie iNet, AgWeb.com and Sopheon/Teltech, as well as a number of new business and technology ventures, on new product programs, new business initiatives, business renewal and business reconstruction programs.

Prior to founding NeuVision Group, Dave held new product, business launch, business management, marketing, product management and business development positions with 3M, Imation and Pillsbury.

Dave's corporate experience includes commercialization of numerous new product programs as well as successfully managing and growing existing businesses in fiercely competitive markets. He has held direct global marketing and business management responsibilities, launched products and served as a business advisor to major product lines with combined annual sales measured in the billions of dollars.

While at 3M and its technology spin-off, Imation, Dave collaborated on business, marketing and new product initiatives with companies like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Sony, Seagate, ADIC, Exabyte, Iomega and others. Dave's skills and experience have resulted in a unique ability to staff, organize, lead and manage cross-functionally as a leader, search professional and as a business advisor.

Dave has nearly two decades combined experience working with marketing services companies, both as a corporate advisor and as a client. Along with his collaborating partners, he assembled consulting and marketing teams with career experience working with many of the world's most powerful brands and companies.

Dave has received two of 3M's prestigious Sales and Marketing Professionalism Awards, one at the U.S. level, and one for global achievement. He also received two 3M Golden Step Awards for outstanding new product performance. He received a 2002 Grand President's Leadership Award from Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, and was awarded a "Member of the Century" award during their 2004 centennial convention. Dave has been a regional officer and guest lecturer on marketplace issues with the Product Development Management Association, and is an active member of National Agri-Marketing Association and the American Marketing Association.

In addition to extensive marketing, management, technology and diverse business to business experience, Dave has been involved in agriculture for more than three decades. He has had experience as an individual producer, a cash grain merchandiser, a farm owner, a partner in a large family farming operation and as an advisor to major agricultural manufacturers.

Dave holds an MBA with honors in marketing and finance from Indiana University. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from Kansas State University, with extensive studies in finance. In addition to Alpha Scouts, Dave also maintains ongoing ownership and a passive role in a large family farming operation.
